Just a heads up. We are in talks with OEP and surrounding parishes.
The latest forecast models have increased severe storms between 2:30 and 4:00 pm.
We are trying to see about the possibility of getting in a half day, but OEP has informed us that 40-50 mph winds could be possible around 11 am.
Give me a little more time to discuss with the NWS, OEP, and local superintendents and we will try to make a decision before folks head off to bed this evening.
Additionally, all state offices have just been closed so we are trying to get a report as to that information as well.
Will need a little patience on this one.
